TR-FML-E3/TR-FSL-E3
The TRIGA, TR-FML-E3 (Fiber-Optic Multi-Mode) and TR-FSL-E3 (Fiber-Optic Single-Mode) are plug-in fiber loop modules used for fiber-optic networking with the TR-RPT-E3-UTP (Network Repeater). The two types of fiber option modules are used as one channel to transmit or receive communications with the TR-RPT-E3-UTP (Network Repeater) and/or the TR-INI-VG Series voice gateway for the ARCNET communication circuit of the GEN2 Series® System.
The following describe the two types of fiber option modules.
- The TR-FML-E3 is a fiber module that allows the multi-mode fiber to network between nodes. It features the ST style connectors with a maximum attenuation of 8db with 62.5/125 micrometer cable.
- The TR-FSL-E3 is a fiber module that allows the single-mode fiber to network between nodes. It features the LC style connectors with a maximum attenuation of 30db with 9/125 micrometer cable.
Each fiber loop module can Transmit (TX) or Receive (RX) across the fiber-optic cable connected to a supporting GEN2 Series component. Up to two fiber loop cards can be added to each supporting GEN2 Series component, and both cards may be combined in the same configuration
