TR-M500X
The TRIGA TR-M500X is a high-reliability fault isolator module engineered to maintain continuous operation on the communication signaling line circuit (SLC) during a short-circuit event. Operating as an autonomous electronic switch, the module constantly monitors loop integrity and instantly triggers an open circuit if the line voltage drops below 4 volts.
- Zonal Short Circuit Protection: Designed to be spaced strategically between groups of sensors or modules (recommended maximum of 20 devices per zone). If a short circuit occurs between any two isolators, both adjacent modules switch to an open-circuit state, trapping the fault while allowing the rest of the loop to remain active.
- Automatic Restorative Reset: Once the field wiring short circuit is physically corrected or removed, the module automatically closes its internal switch, instantly restoring normal data flow across the entire signaling line circuit.
- Dynamic Visual Diagnostics: Features an integrated status LED indicator that flashes green under standard operational polling conditions and switches to a steady red light to visually flag a localized short circuit condition.
